Remembrance Sunday 12th November 2023
Following a service at St. John's Felixstowe : -
At the War Memorial, the FMMC Wreath was laid by the ClubCaptain Timothy MacGuire who reported thus:-
The services at St. John's church, the Felixstowe cemetery and at the town War Memorial was led by Revd. Canon Andrew Dotchin, chaplain to the Royal British Legion, Felixstowe. The town's mayor (Seamus Bennett) and deputy mayor (Mike Deacon) and council members and many other dignitaries were in attendance. The Band of the Felixstowe Salvation Army Corps provided music and bugles for the Last Post.
Army, Navy, Air Force plus cadets and scouts all led the Parade along with Standard Bearers. The local RBL invited all to the Suffolk Bowls Club for refreshments after the service
